Language Development for Childrensouthernday1-2

Why is language development important for children? Language helps children communicate in a social setting. It means understanding the meaning behind words, speaking in sentences, understanding commands and directions and relating to parents and peers. Language is crucial for children to grow up to be a person who can socially interact with others throughout life. At Southside Mandarin, we teach Chinese language inspired by various traditional and western methods including Montessori, Emilio Reggio, Doman etc. We use a theme/knowledge based, systematic manner to teach children the basics so they can master speech, listening, reading and writing. Our Primary classes extend to cover foundation strenthening plus our Critical Thinking classes for upper Primary focuses on expression both orally and through writing.
